Gwinnett Summer Singers is a non-auditioned summer-only community chorus of approximately 50 singers, welcoming people of all backgrounds and levels of music experience. Rehearsals are led by Music Director Matthew Edwards in a fun, workshop-style environment. For the participants, it’s a chance to learn, grow, and share their voices in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Gwinnett Summer Singers was created in 2026 to reach out to the growing metro Atlanta suburbs of Gwinnett County, including Lawrenceville, Dacula, Grayson, Norcross, and Peachtree Corners. The Gwinnett Summer Singers is an ensemble under the umbrella of the William Baker Choral Foundation, a national arts organization that traces its history to the creation of the Gwinnett Festival Singers, which was founded in Gwinnett County in 1985.
This is a summer ensemble. Rehearsals and concerts take place in the summer season only.
Registration begins every March. Follow us on Facebook or Join our Community to get alerts.
