The Summer Singers of Kansas City is a non-auditioned chorus of 150 voices, led by Music Director Dr. William Baker. Summer Singers of KC begins weekly rehearsals in June in preparation for a performance of a major choral-orchestral masterwork at the end of August.

The magic of Summer Singers is the wide range of choral experience levels singing side-by-side, collaborating with some of the region’s finest professional soloists and members of the Kansas City Symphony. The Summer Singers experience attracts people from across the region, including some traveling from as far away as Topeka, Lawrence, and Oak Grove, Kansas. Recent summer concerts have featured ambitious masterwork classics from Haydn, Handel, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Mozart.

This is a summer ensemble. Rehearsals and concerts take place in the summer season only.

Registration begins every March. Follow us on Facebook or Join our Community to get alerts.
