The Cobb Summer Singers, founded in Cobb County, GA in 2006, is a non-auditioned chorus of 75 members, led by Music Director James Cordell. The Cobb Summer Singers rehearses in Acworth, Georgia, reaching out to a growing area of metro Atlanta, and is open to all levels of music experience for adults and mature youth.

Concerts may include contemporary music, spirituals, and gospels, sung a cappella or accompanied by professional instrumentalists. In previous years they were joined by distinguished soloists and professional chamber orchestra, presenting exciting programs like Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Brahms’s Requiem, and many more.

This is a summer ensemble. Rehearsals and concerts take place in the summer season only.
