Niccole Williams is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, earning a Bachelor of Vocal Music Education with a minor in Linguistic Studies. At Kennesaw State she studied voice, organ, piano, and conducting, and sang in the Kennesaw State Chorale and Women’s Choir. She completed the Master of Music Education in Vocal/Choral Pedagogy at the University of Kansas in July 2021. She was appointed a Fellow of the Institute for Healthy Singing & Voice Research in July 2021 and Education Director in March 2024.
In Georgia she served as staff singer and Assistant Children’s Choir Director for St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church in Smyrna, taught piano at Vinings School of the Arts in Atlanta, and taught voice from her studio in Kennesaw. She has been a member of Choral Foundation ensembles since 2014, including the New South Festival Singers, William Baker Festival Singers, Cobb Summer Singers, the Baroque Summer Institute, the Summer Singers of Atlanta and Kansas City, and the Summer Singers of Lee’s Summit. Upon moving to Kansas City she was appointed Student Intern for the William Baker Festival Singers for the 2018–2019 concert season.
She taught K-6 general music and choir for three years in the Shawnee Mission School District, then taught pre-K–5th grade general music and 6th–8th grade choir at St. Charles Borromeo Academy through 2023. Based in Liberty, Missouri, she teaches private voice and piano. As Education Director for the IHS&VR she works with teachers in Kapkemich, Kenya, and leads vocal health workshops for schools and church choirs. She is a staff singer at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lee’s Summit.
