Sarah Read
Assistant Development Director
Sarah Read grew up 45 minutes north of Kansas City in a small farming community in Clinton County. She attended Missouri Western State University, earning a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Vocal Performance. After furthering her education at Park University, she began working in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training around the Kansas City area in various high schools and colleges. Needing a steadier work-life balance, she switched to the banking industry. There, she rediscovered her love for singing with her church choir. Sarah is currently an Assistant Vice President at Commerce Bank. She has been a member of the Liberty Community Chorus since 2024. She has been a member of the Festival Singers and the Northland Summer Singers since 2025. Sarah also advises the Choral Foundation, drawing on her wealth of fundraising experience.
