Dr. Jeffery Straub joined the Institute for Healthy Singing & Voice Research in 2023. He is an ear, nose, and throat physician and surgeon specializing in laryngology, with fellowship training in the medical and surgical management of voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. His path into this field grew from medical training and a personal passion for vocal performance rooted in his experiences as a singer.

A Kansas City native, he is committed to expanding local access to subspecialized voice care. In collaboration with the Choral Foundation he provides specialized medical attention and contributes to educational initiatives focused on vocal health.
